Pepperdine is a very calm environment. There are parties, but it is also a dry campus. So Pepperdine students do not party as much as other schools. Prospective students who are party animals should possibly seek to attend other schools.

There are many things to do around Pepperdine like go to dinner, movie, the beach. There are shopping centers in both Santa Monica and through the canyon. On campus, there are different activities throughout the year and they hold events like “Spring Fling” where you can stay up for Disneyland tickets.

The policy is on hold while Campus Recreation collects more data about the relationship between disease and exercise clothing. The exercise policy banned tank tops, spaghetti straps, sport bras, swimsuits and shirts showing mid-riff or armpits, allowing only full t-shirts with sleeves and appropriate length shorts.

Is there a curfew at Pepperdine?
Pepperdine is a Christian university, and we do have certain rules we have to follow. Freshmen year while living in the dorms, you will have a curfew of 2 am to be out of the opposite sex’s dorms. But other than that you do not have a curfew of what time you have to be back at your dorm, that would be ridiculous.
