Medtronic is overall a pretty decent employer. Good work/life balance, no calls at night or on weekends. I pretty much work 40 hours/wk (or less) and this is perfectly acceptable. However, the culture there is very inefficient.

Massive medical device company only interested in quarterly performance… Pay is good if you work hard, but NO work life balance even though they like to brag that there is. Constant turn over of managers (7 in 10 years), only interested in quarterly performance. Company is so large now that you are only a number.
