NDA is a tri-services training academy, which cadets join after Class XII. At NDA, they undergo a three-year training at the end of which they are awarded a BA or BSc degree. Cadets from the Navy stream who pass out of NDA are awarded a BSc degree and, at INA, they are awarded a masters degree in science.

What happens if you fail in the NDA training?

There were instances at my time when cadets got fail in NDA training which is known as Relegation. Cadets who get fail in academics, or physical tests or even on disciplinary grounds, or due to prolonged absence from training are relegated for a period of 6 months.
