How seats are alloted in CSAB?

The registered candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEE Main merit, preferences, and availability of seats. The seat allotment result of the CSAB 2021 special round will be released in online mode. The selected candidates will have the option to either freeze, float, or cancel their allotted seat.

Is CSAB based on CRL rank?

Your rank in Common Rank List i.e. CRL rank will be used in CSAB Special Round. This is also known as General AIR. Please note that this doesn’t affect the reserved category seats since Category Quota seats are allotted to candidates of that category only.
