Assuming you’re talking about the movie versions, once Ronan got his hands on the Power Stone, there was no way the movie Avengers would have had a realistic chance of winning. Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Captain America are useless unless the writers decide to perform some PIS (plot induced stupidity).
