Why does uTorrent keep slowing down?

Slow torrent downloads are commonly caused by a few factors. Some are under your control (router issues, port forwarding, and misconfigured settings in your torrent client (uTorrent, QBittorrent etc). Other causes, like blocking or throttling by your ISP aren’t easily fixed by tweaking settings.

Does uTorrent keep downloading when computer is in sleep?

When you put PC to sleep mode, it does not work. It is just like you would turn it down, except it keeps all programs open – but those program don’t do anything in sleep mode. If you want the pc to keep downloading during night, you have to leave it running.

How do I keep uTorrent from downloading?

Download the exact same torrent or magnet and reload it in uTorrent. Make sure to keep the directory same as the previous one. Once you start downloading, uTorrent will automatically re-check and start the download from the same spot. I have done this hundred’s of times and haven’t faced any issues.

Will uTorrent keep downloading?

Yes, your downloads still continue. As long as µTorrent Web is running and available in your system tray, your downloads will continue until completed. Of course, you can stop your downloads manually by exiting the application or by pausing or removing the torrent(s) from your Torrent Feed.

Where do uTorrent files go?

The downloaded torrents are saved in the folder where you have installed uTorrent Server. In my case it was /opt folder. Navigate to the folder and you will find all your downloaded torrents.

Why is uTorrent slow on Android?

This means your network is blocking torrent files, or is blocking your outgoing port. If you can download a torrent on another network (particularly a fast wifi network), then it’s likely that your wifi network is causing the issue.
