Why does anime seem better than real life?
Anime characters rarely have any flaws, imperfections, spots, or anything else that affects “how” a person looks. That’s why they look “more attractive” than people in real life. Because anime characters are exaggerated. Because it’s animated (not based on real people).

It’s still easier to adapt (what is essentially) a comic book, into an anime (or cartoon) than a live action film. In my opinion it’s easier and (obviously) cheaper, and most of the times (99,99\% of the cases) the end result is way better.
