Me. if you are talking about work culture, SBI is NOT the place to be. If you are a risk taker, who likes to work hard and expect to grow early and make money, again, SBI is not the place to be. If you are a smart worker and believe in working real rather than boot licking your boss, SBI is NOT the place to be in.

If you are a non-engineer from non DU colleges and getting a job of more than 15-20K is tough for you, join SBI. If you have horrible acads and no IIM is willing to take you in, join sbi for 5 6 years, try to work in treasury or trade and finance , do CFA/FRM, Treasury Certifications and switch to other banks.
