Depending on the water level, there are always good sandy beaches to park the houseboat. The last few years I’ve just been pulling straight out from the slip and up the BullFrog Bay area. I have found good beaches up there, and it’s not too far from the convenience of the Marina for quick runs for ice or goodies.

As a side note: I have found the best time of the year for Lake Powell is early September. The water is still at a good temp, water level’s have stabilized and the weather is a perfect I’ve been houseboating for 15 years now from BullFrog. I’ve spent a lot of time in Hall’s Creek Bay.
