The biggest difference is boat traffic. Wahweap/Antelope is a much easier base for most visitors, thus more traffic. And the way the lake lays out, it all has to go north, and through a narrow stretch all the way to Gunsight Bay, which is about 17 miles.

Depending on the water level, there are always good sandy beaches to park the houseboat. The last few years I’ve just been pulling straight out from the slip and up the BullFrog Bay area. I have found good beaches up there, and it’s not too far from the convenience of the Marina for quick runs for ice or goodies.
