Do you need to level up support weapons Genshin?

Only exception are weapons that offer HP and Energy Recharge bonuses. Those don’t really need that high of a level, if your healer that already heals a large amount and/or your support already getting sufficient Energy. No need to waste resources for those type of support weapons.
