What is the difference between lagna chart and chalit chart?
Lagna or Ascendant chart is for Signs. KP chart is for actual position of the Planet. CHALIT Chart is to predict the real time Dasha results.
What is a chalit chart?
A chalit chart shows planets in houses (bhava). Planets occupy signs, not houses. If it’s assumed that one sign completely occupies one house of 30 degrees, houses are alloted to planets in usual way, which we call the main lagna chart or rashi chart or D1 chart.
Why KP chart is different?
In KP system, each planet has its sub lord whose effects are also seen while analysing any horoscope. In case, two planets are placed in one Nakshatra and sub lords are different for each one, then there can be different results experienced.
What is the meaning of Chalit chart?
This kind of allocation of planets to houses is called chalit chart (also called bhava chalit chart because is shows planets in bhavas i.e. houses). Which one to use – rashi chart or chalit chart?
What is the difference between Rashi chart and bhava Chalit chart?
When the Lagna degree is at the midpoint of the Rashi itself, around 15 degrees, the Rashi chart and the Bhav Chalit chart will be exactly the same. The Bhava Chalit Chart makes a big difference for charts where the Lagna degree is away from the midpoint of the Rashi.
Why is the Nirayana bhava Chalit chart so important?
Due to our position on earth, the angular width of houses change and since the house decides good and bad results (not the zodiac sign) the result of a planet changes. This makes understanding the Nirayana Bhava Chalit Chart really important.
Can I use a bhava chart with a divisional chart?
We never mix divisional charts with bhava chart. Planets influence a chart based on the bhava they are situated in. Rule of thumb – if an interpretation system works only with planets and houses and not signs, you can safely assume that it is working with the chalit chart and not the rashi chart.
