Vallejo is a decent place to live, post pandemic era. Way less crime than Oakland, Berkeley and SF. Most houses have large backyards and it’s easy to commute to SF via the ferry or i80. It looks like it may be turning around though as a bunch of charter schools have opened and private schools are 1/5th the price of SF.
