Only the Special Round Participation Fee will be adjusted in the fee of the newly allotted Institute. Such candidates will have to claim their fee from IITs as per the refund policy of IITs.

Can we fill CSAB without Josaa?

Yes you can participate in CSAB counselling without participating in JoSAA counselling. Central Seat Allocation Board will be conducting CSAB 2021 to provide admissions into the participating institutes (IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs) on the basis of JEE Main scores.

How to participate in CSAB special rounds 2021?

Students who are not allotted any seat in JoSAA or wish to upgrade their previously allotted seat in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs can participate in CSAB Special rounds 2021. Students will be required to register in online mode for participating in CSAB special rounds 2021 for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

What if I am not allotted a seat in CSAB?

Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the special round, he/ she shall be entitled to a refund of participation fee with a deduction of Rs. 2,000. Candidates who are not allocated a seat in CSAB Round 1 and wants to withdraw from Round 2 counselling are entitled to a refund of participation fee with a deduction of Rs. 2,000

What is the procedure for special counselling in CSAB?

CSAB conducts two rounds of special counselling. After checking the seat allotment result through CSAB portal, the candidates will have to accept the seat allotment, pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm the admission. On the other hand, candidates willing to participate in Special Round 2 can choose Float or Slide options.

Who can take part in CSAB through JOSAA?

Candidates who have accept the seat and paid the partial admission fee through JoSAA can also take part in CSAB. Candidates who have opted for ‘Not to Participate in Special Round’ at the time of reporting are not eligible for CSAB.
