Is red red 2 a good movie?
Red 2 is a good movie with a reasonably well developed storyline and a terrific cast. It’s a lot of fun, simple as that, the whole cast seem to be enjoying themselves and because of that I had a fun time watching it, it’s a lot funnier than the original, does not take itself as seriously, much lighter on character development.
Is Redred 2 worth the watch?
Red 2, like the original Red, is not meant to be taken seriously. In many of my other reviews I come down hard for ridiculous plot lines and lack of believability, but this flick was never intended to be taken seriously on any level. It is a comical take on action/spy movies and so it matters not what liberties are taken.
Why is red 2 so bad?
Following up 2010’s successful and enjoyable Red, RED 2 has a new director and some fresh cast members, but overall the sense is of a general lack of care. The movie clearly doesn’t have much going on, so director Dean Parisot moves things quickly in a vain effort to keep viewers from noticing.
What happens in the sequel to red (2020)?
Like RED, the sequel opens with Frank Moses (Willis, heroic as usual) trying to engage the R part of the titular acronym. His retirement is short lived—again—by a violent act. This time, the victim is his former partner Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich, very funny here).
