Is there life on planets around other stars?
Numerous large, massive gas giant planets have been detected previously in habitable-zone orbits around solar-type stars, but gas giants are not thought to be capable of supporting life. This new exoplanet is the smallest-radius planet discovered in the habitable zone of any star to date.
Can we live on any other planets?
It holds a huge amount of celestial bodies, like planets, stars, and asteroids among others. There is a total of 8 planets in the solar system but living beings have been observed only on one planet and that is the earth. Scientists have not witnessed any signs of life on any of the other 7 planets yet.
What kind of life could exist on Europa?
The type of life that might inhabit Europa likely would not be powered by photosynthesis – but by chemical reactions. Europa’s surface is blasted by radiation from Jupiter. That’s a bad thing for life on the surface – it couldn’t survive. But the radiation may create fuel for life in an ocean below the surface.
What organisms could live on Europa?
radiodurans can survive the harsh ionizing and ultra-violet radiation of space, as well as extreme cold, vacuum conditions, and oxidative damage. Of the three bacteria, the extremophile D. radiodurans would seem to be the most likely analog for life on Europa.
What planets could have life?

Is there life on Uranus?
Uranus’ environment is not conducive to life as we know it. The temperatures, pressures, and materials that characterize this planet are most likely too extreme and volatile for organisms to adapt to.
Can there be life on other planets and moons?
Life on other Planets and Moons in the Solar System. At present the only planet or moon that is known to support life in The Solar System is Earth. It is not to say that life doesn’t or ever existed on other planets and moons, its just we’ve not finished checking everywhere yet and have not found any evidence yet.
Does Venus or mercury have any moons which could support life?
Seeker Neither Venus nor Mercury have any moons which could support life. Earth, the third planet from the Sun, our home in the Solar System is the only planet or moon that is known to have the ability support support life.
Which planets in the Solar System support life?
Earth, the third planet from the Sun, our home in the Solar System is the only planet or moon that is known to have the ability support support life. Earth has the right ingredients and is sufficiently far enough from the Sun to have just the right temperature to support life.
