10 meters is high enough to hurt you plenty unless you manage a fairly clean entry. I fumbled my hand lock once when diving head first and dislocated a shoulder from a lesser height than 10 m. Winded and bruised is also entirely possible. With a good entry (I recommend feet first) 10 m is no big deal.

You CAN hurt yourself. It’s a heckuva impact if you hit belly down. I went cliff jumping one time which was probably about the same height as the 10m dive. It kind of hurt, and it was definitely scary.
