The basics of becoming a photographer are incredibly easy now; You can buy a camera and some equipment, learn photography from a multitude of free online photography courses, practice your photography skills, find a niche that you can focus on.
Is photography still used today?
Photography is absolutely dead, technology killed it. Photographers were the visual story tellers of the 20th Century. Today, visual art seems to extend no further than applying a filter to yet another “selfie”, shared on whichever social platform has achieved critical mass on the day (only to be replaced tomorrow).

Photography is by NO means a dying art. If anything it’s an over saturated art, since nearly every single person on the planet can take a picture at any second.
