Hindi, written in the Devanagari script, is one of the two official languages of the Government of India, along with the English language. As a linguistic variety, Hindi is the fourth most-spoken first language in the world, after Mandarin, Spanish and English.

Do you consider Marathi movies as a Hindi imposition?

Not to forget, Marathi is very similar to Hindi & uses the same script (Devanagari) and hence any form of Hindi imposition hardly affects me personally. I have been reviewing & recommending Hindi movies, serials & books over the years.
