Is Gohan strong in GT?

Why GT Gohan is the strongest version of Gohan to date. This means that a base Form Gohan, who was stronger than General Rildo, was also stronger than Base form Goku pre tournament of Power. Gohan also goes up against Syn Shenron, but gets one shotted in his Super Saiyan form.

Why did Gohan get so weak?

I agree that Gohan(Mystic) has definitely become weaker after Buu saga. This is a consequence of Gohan neglecting his training and pursuing on becoming a professor. Why is Goku so weak in GT?

Goku is weak because there are many obstacles that will always get in his way by being stronger than him. It’s also about Potential and raw strength with experience added. Even when he is outmatched he still fights for the thrill of it giving it all. Take Natsu for example, he never fought an enemy without a butt pull.
