Core companies are less compared to non-core companies. Secondly, Core jobs require high CGPA as far I have seen placements so far barring few exceptions.

IITians are honest and pay the taxes. We don’t scam or accept bribes because we are morally very high. Working for a govt. company is not the only way to benefit the country. I doubt whether a govt. job benefits the country unless it is achieved through super competitive exams like UPSC.
