Physics and Maths are required if you want to apply for Flying Branch or Technical branch. There the criteria is that you should have PASSED Physics and Maths at 12th level. There is no restriction on marks in 12th. Your graduation marks are counted and if they are below 60\%,then you will not be eligible.

Is maths in 12 compulsory for AFCAT?

Yes, you can apply for AFCAT exam. For Flying branch, Maths and Physics in 12th are necessary because these are the essential subjects required with minimum of 60\% of marks in both subjects. AFCAT exam is conducted twice in a year for those candidates who are interested in joining Air Force.

Can I apply for AFCAT with 55 in graduation?

No, you are not eligible for AFCAT for ground duty after private B.Com with 55\%. Candidate must have secure more than 60\% marks in graduation in order to be eligible for AFCAT ground duty staff or candidate must have post graduation degree/ diploma in any discipline with more than 50\% marks.

Is maths compulsory for AFCAT non technical?

Maths is not compulsory during graduation to apply for CDSE or AFCAT, but Maths must be as a compulsory subject in (10+2) to apply for CDSE for Air Force and AFCAT for Technical as well as Flying branch.

Hello, Yes for applying in CDS I.M.A you should have Physics and Maths as your in your class 12th. This is a required qualification.

What is the minimum marks required in 12th physics to join IAF?

You need to have 60+ in maths and physics to become eligible for flying branch. Edit: In a recent update from IAF, the minimum marks in 12th in physics and maths should be 50 instead of 60 to be eligible for flying branch.

Can I join IAF through CDS if I have 11th marks?

You need to have atleast 60\% marks both in Physics and Maths. And they are asking for only your 12th marks. 11th class marks have no business to do here. If you are a boy you can join through CDS. For flying branch in IAF through CDS you need to have Physics and Maths as your subjects in 12th class.

Is a PCM student eligible for AFCAT?

Yes ,you are eligible for AFCAT but not for the Afcat technical entry. Afcat consists of two paper general +technical . If you have less than 60 marks in PCM.
