We recommend you keep a stash of cloth diapers between 30-40 diapers. For most babies, that is a sufficient amount that will keep everyone happy. Remember, you can always buy a few more if needed!

Rubber pants aren’t as confining or constricting as rubber gloves mind you… they’re more loose-fitting, baggy, and more plasticy, but still, they were bad for producing a hot greenhouse effect on baby’s bottom, but using plain cloth diapers without waterproof panties would be disastrous. Well, actually, I probably did wear them back in the day!
Do you wear plastic or rubber pants when in nappies?
When in nappies I always wear plastic or Rubber pants. Very occasionally I will wear traditional terry nappy squares kite fold. Plastic or rubber pants then become essential. I will sometimes have leaks at night so I decided to try these diaper covers, which are actually vinyl and not plastic or rubber.
