To be eligible for one of the DAAD scholarships, you should have obtained your last university degree no longer than 6 years ago. Furthermore, you need to submit proof of at least two years of working experience after your first degree – including a recommendation letter from your employer and university.

What are the benefits of the DAAD internship?

The amount is calculated on a daily basis if you stay less than 23 days a month. DAAD provides health insurance, accident and personal liability insurance. All interns are invited to the three-day RISE Germany meeting in Heidelberg at the beginning of July and will receive an allowance of 160 Euros for travel to the meeting.

When can I start my MITACS and DAAD internship offer?

Those 100 receive a combined scholarship from Mitacs and DAAD: You can start your internship between May 15 and July 12, 2021 for a duration of three month (minimum stay ten weeks, maximum stay 90 days). Generally speaking the start dates in the internship offers are meant as a timeframe.

How do I get a stipend from DAAD?
