Even as it undergoes different forms of change and shifting of importance, religion remains one of the most important social, cultural, and political actors in societies around the world.
What is Christianity most important?
The death and resurrection of Jesus are usually considered the most important events in Christian theology, partly because they demonstrate that Jesus has power over life and death and therefore has the authority and power to give people eternal life.
Is the church still relevant?
The church IS still relevant today for no other reason than there is no other place to worship en masse and there is no reason whatsoever to infer that it is not relevant. (The church is wherever a group of believers meets to worship. It doesn’t have to be a fancy building, nor does it even have to BE a building.)

Jesus of Nazareth is a very important person in the Christian religion. He was believed to be the Messiah, the long awaited savior, and the Son of God. In the first section of the Bible, the Old Testament, people were awaiting the Messiah, and in the New Testament, second section, it tells the story of Jesus’ life and teachings.
