Can Pakistani Pashtuns understand Dari language?
No.Pakistani pashtuns can not speak or understand Dari language. Dari is not spoken in any part of country by native people. There are some afghan refugees who speak it with family and there might be few pashtuns of afghan origin who can understand it but their younger generation who brought up here are clueless about Dari.
Do any Afghan people speak Punjabi or Urdu?
You will rarely find any Afghan speaking Punjabi, unless it’s someone who lived in Indian or Pakistan Punjab. As for Urdu, I don’t think it should really be called a language. It’s simply an impure form of Hindi, very much like Pindi (Punjabi+Hindi) or Hinglish (Hindi with lots of English mixed).
Are Hindustani and Urdu mutually intelligible with Farsi?
Hindi and Urdu are NOT mutually intelligible with Farsi at all, especially the common colloquial spoken in Iran. I can’t really speak much for Dari, but the borrowed Farsi words you see in Urdu and Hindustani seem to come from Afghan Dari.
