Q. Is it OK to cut a cigar in half? For instance, a Churchill that I might not want to smoke all at once? Actually, you can, but you run the risk of the cigar’s wrapper unraveling.

For Cigar Aficionado tasting parameters, it’s any cigar that measures 6 3/4 inches to 7 3/8 inches long, with a ring gauge of at least 47.
