We are proud to welcome them into our volunteer family. Often, dads don’t realize they too can participate as leaders, cookie coordinators, and outdoor instructors. There are many options for volunteering! Long time Girl Scout dad, Jon Call, has been volunteering to help his daughters’ troops for ten years.

Can dads Go On Girl Scout camping trips?

1) All Dads/male guardians should sleep in a separate tent but are welcome to attend. Just need separate sleeping quarters AND a separate/designated bathroom – or at least a sign that flips over when a man is inside.

Can parents attend Girl Scout meetings?

No. You trust your kids teacher and trust that they are safe. It is the same with scouts. Parents are distracting during troop meetings.
