One of the main differentiators when considering Unity vs Unreal Engine is the quality of visuals. Unreal offers high-fidelity visuals straight out of the box, whereas Unity – while still able to produce high- quality visuals – takes a lot more work to get your assets looking close to the same level as Unreal.

Is it easy to shift from Unity to Unreal?

It’s getting your programming to a level at which you can comfortably create all the code for your own first game. So C# is your language of choice. Note that if you learn to program C# well enough to actually finish your own games in Unity, then you can learn C++ and move to Unreal quite easily.
