Which grade of engine oil is the best for fzs version 2?

For my FZ V2. 0 I usually change my engine oil every 2500kms as I prefer Motul 5100 10w 40 fully synthetic engine oil. You can also go for Yamalube prime but in that case I would recommend you to change the engine oil every 1500-1800 kms as it is a semi synthetic oil.

What’s the difference between synthetic and fully synthetic?

Are semi-synthetic motor oils better than synthetic?

The more synthetic base oil contained in a motor oil in general the better the performance. In turn, a full synthetic motor oil formulated with a robust additive system will always be better than synthetic blends. That said a properly formulated semi-synthetic can offer performance benefits over a conventional motor oil.

What is synthetic base oil?

A synthetic base oil is derived though the creation of new base oil components (synthesis) to produce a stronger performing base fluid. For a full synthetic motor oil 100\% of the base oil composition contains these stronger synthesized base oil components.

How often should you change synthetic blend engine oil?

The amounts of time you can wait before changing your oil tends to differ greatly between conventional and synthetic oils, however, synthetic blend engine oil is much closer to the average full synthetic change interval. Even on the lower end, synthetic motor oil can still last for up to 5,000 miles before you need to change it.
